Devereux changes lives and nurtures human potential. We inspire hope, ensure well-being, and promote meaningful life choices. The Devereux National Network is a leading non-profit behavioral health organization providing services nationwide and has been in existence since 1912. Devereux Arizona began providing services in 1967 with the opening of a therapeutic day school in Scottsdale, Arizona. A residential treatment center opened later, and services expanded into Tucson in 1998.
Today, Devereux Arizona serves more than 4,000 individuals annually across the state. Programs include Residential Treatment Centers, Day School, Outpatient Services, Prevention Programs, Respite, Short-term Residential Treatment, Adult Foster Care, and Foster Care for children. The Human Rights Campaign recognized Devereux Arizona in 2012 for its work with LGBT foster and adoptive families, with the “All Children – All Families seal. Devereux Arizona was the first organization in Arizona to receive this honor.
Devereux serves some of the most underserved and vulnerable members of our society who may have experienced varying degrees of verbal, emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse and neglect. Our extensive array of services enables us to provide many service options for individuals in the child and family welfare system.
